About this role
Kelso Southwest is building out a major data center project in Tulsa and needs an Assistant Project Manager to bridge the gap between the office and the field. You'd support the PM on everything from RFIs and submittals to procurement, scheduling, and cost tracking—essentially helping move a mechanical construction project from drawings into reality. The work involves coordinating with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors while keeping documentation organized, flagging conflicts early, and maintaining communication between teams.
This role suits someone with two to five years in commercial or industrial mechanical construction who understands HVAC, piping, or process systems. Data center or mission-critical project experience is a plus, but what matters most is that you're organized, comfortable reading drawings, and ready to work closely with field leadership in a fast-paced environment. You'll need solid skills in RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking—the core tools of project coordination.
This is a contract position based in Tulsa, in-office. It's a good fit if you're looking to deepen your project-management skills within a large, established mechanical contractor and see a path toward greater responsibility as the company grows.
