About this role

The Jane Pauley Community Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Indiana communities regardless of income or insurance status, and this medical assistant role sits at the heart of that mission. You would support both patients and clinical providers across a range of clinical tasks: rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, administering injections, performing EKGs, conducting point-of-care lab work, and managing documentation in the EHR. The work demands accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, as you'll coordinate with patients, families, providers, and external partners while maintaining compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and other clinical standards.

You'll need current CMA or RMA certification, BLS certification, and a background in an accredited medical assistant program. The role strongly prefers three years of ambulatory care experience and familiarity with specific systems including VFC, CHIRP, and VOMS. This is a full-time, in-office position in Greenfield, Indiana, suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is drawn to work that directly expands healthcare access for underserved populations.

The Center offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous PTO, a 401(k) with employer contribution, and life and disability insurance—benefits designed to support both your immediate needs and long-term security.
