About this role

Burgess & Niple's Tampa office is looking for someone to manage the administrative and reporting backbone of bridge inspection projects. You'd be responsible for converting field inspection notes into the Bridge Management System, preparing and reviewing inspection reports for submission to clients, and maintaining organized project files across multiple concurrent contracts. The role also involves coordinating with consultants across the country on project status and timing, handling general office coordination, and ensuring quality control on deliverables.

This position requires five years of project administration experience in high-volume bridge inspection contracts, ideally from an A/E or construction firm background. You'll need strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word), solid technical editing and grammar skills, and familiarity with FDOT systems—specifically the Mainframe, Bridge Management System, and Electronic Document Management System. Experience with Adobe Suite and Google Maps is a plus. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable to learning new collaboration tools, and comfortable working in an in-office environment in Tampa while supporting a distributed team.
