About this role
Ubiquiti Networks is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Chicago, supporting the monthly close process and financial reporting for a publicly traded company that has shipped over 100 million devices globally. You'll own month-end close activities, maintain general ledger integrity, and prepare schedules and documentation for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and external audits. The role also involves variance analysis, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and coordination of foreign statutory audits—all requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work through discrepancies methodically.
This position demands at least five years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in multinational or large public company environments. You'll need a bachelor's degree in accounting and advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets; a CPA license and NetSuite experience are preferred but not required. Beyond technical competency, the role calls for someone who can collaborate across departments in a fast-paced setting, support SOX compliance initiatives, and contribute to process improvement projects. If you have experience with SEC reporting and thrive on maintaining financial accuracy while supporting management decision-making, this in-office role offers a clear path to deepen your expertise in public company accounting.
