Our Concierge are not only responsible for delivering this information to guests, but also for educating other associates to build this knowledge across the hotel.
No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success – creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, ensuring your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality, completing paperwork and documentation, and protecting company assets. Our Concierge should get out from behind the desk (stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects, 10 pounds or less, by yourself). Doing all of these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for the Concierge – to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.

About this role
The Lifestyle Concierge role at The Ritz-Carlton Tampa goes beyond standard guest services—it's about designing personalized experiences that make a stay memorable. You'll become a local expert, building real relationships across the Tampa community and using creativity to connect guests with unique opportunities that showcase the area. This means getting out into the property and the city itself, taking initiative to learn what makes the destination special, and then translating that knowledge into tailored recommendations and arrangements for each guest.
The position requires someone who thrives on hands-on engagement and can think beyond standard answers. You'll spend considerable time on your feet, moving between the desk and the property, and you'll also mentor other hotel staff to build concierge knowledge across the team. Success here depends on attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to follow procedures while exercising genuine creativity within them. A high school diploma is the only formal requirement; the role values initiative and interpersonal skill over prior concierge or hospitality experience.
This is a full-time, in-office position suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, exploring their community, and solving problems in ways that delight others. If you're energized by creating experiences rather than simply providing information, and you're comfortable being visible and active throughout your shift, this role offers a direct path to delivering the high-touch service Ritz-Carlton guests expect.
