About this role

OpenTable is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead growth strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—a role that sits at the intersection of brand building and performance marketing in the hospitality space. You'll own both B2C and B2B initiatives, from social media and influencer partnerships to paid campaigns and restaurant industry events, working closely with global teams to ensure cohesive execution across markets. This is a hands-on position where you'll manage the full campaign lifecycle, test strategies using data and analytics, and serve as the primary market voice for Germany.

The role demands 7+ years of marketing experience with proven success in social media strategy, digital channels, and cross-functional collaboration. Fluency in German and business English is essential, as is the ability to work with data platforms and business intelligence tools. Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or technology sectors is preferred but not required; what matters is a track record of building integrated marketing strategies and managing stakeholders across sales, PR, and external partners. You'll thrive here if you're analytical, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where you'll occasionally need to collaborate across time zones outside standard hours.

The position is based in Munich with in-office expectations, though you can work remotely up to 20 days annually. The base salary is 70–75k€, with benefits including generous vacation, paid parental leave, mental health support, and professional development resources. Note that this is listed as a volunteer role, which may warrant clarification with the hiring team.
