About this role

Home Chef's RTH FSQA Technician role is a full-time, in-office position in Atlanta working first shift (7 AM to 3:30 PM) with weekends off. You'd be the quality and food safety checkpoint on the production line, verifying that ready-to-heat meals meet recipe specifications, temperature requirements, and safety standards before they ship. The work involves hands-on inspections—checking critical control points, conducting metal detection and pH testing, monitoring sanitation and equipment conditions, and immediately escalating any deviations to leadership.

The role demands attention to detail and a working knowledge of food safety systems; a high school diploma is required, and prior experience in food quality is preferred. Beyond inspections and audits, you'd assist with training new staff, help investigate safety issues, and pitch in with production support tasks as needed. This is a team-oriented environment where you'd work closely with production staff daily and take ownership of maintaining Home Chef's food safety protocols.

The position offers standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, a 401k program, and flexible spending accounts. The hourly rate is $18.75.
