We’re hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses - compassionate professionals who bring clinical expertise and heartfelt care to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Serve as a compassionate liaison between residents, families, and physicians
- Provide clinical support and assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, mobility, etc.)
- Monitor resident health and maintain accurate care documentation
- Support a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents with memory impairments
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program
- Active LVN/LPN license
- Preferred: experience in senior care or memory care settings
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Effective communicator in verbal and written English
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Comfortable working around animals and pets

About this role
Silverado Hermann Park is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for its memory care community in Houston. This role combines direct clinical care with the relational work of supporting residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other neurodegenerative conditions. You'll monitor resident health, assist with daily living activities, coordinate between residents and their families and physicians, and help maintain a safe and dignified environment. The position requires an active LVN/LPN license, comfort with hands-on physical work (including lifting up to 50 lbs.), and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
This is a full-time night shift role (Thursday–Tuesday) suited to someone with clinical training who is also genuinely drawn to memory care work.
