About this role
Macrae Inc., a transatlantic legal search firm, is looking for an Associate Knowledge Manager to join its New York office on a hybrid basis (typically three days per week in-office). You'd earn $80,000 base salary plus eligibility for performance bonuses and retirement contributions, working 9am to 6pm local time.
This role sits at the intersection of administrative support, data management, and operational logistics. You'd be responsible for capturing information from recruiters and colleagues—via call notes, emails, and meetings—and entering it into Macrae's internal databases to keep the global recruiting teams informed and effective. Beyond data entry, you'd maintain the accuracy and integrity of those databases, manage the local office's equipment and inventory, handle scheduling for meetings and interviews, and conduct research using both internal systems and external resources. The work demands strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
The ideal candidate has at least four years of professional experience in a support role within law firms, legal search, executive search, or professional services—ideally working with senior-level staff. You'll need to be organized and responsive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and deadlines compete. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Macrae emphasizes collaboration and flexibility, so adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset are essential to succeeding here.
