About this role

Knighted Ventures is a growth-stage investment organization with a strong foothold in California's gaming industry and expanding operations in Texas. This Staff Accountant role, based in the Addison office, sits within an accounting function that supports a multi-faceted business. You'd report to the Accounting Manager and focus on the core mechanics of financial close: reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, analyzing account activity, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. The work includes month-end tasks, supporting annual audits and budgeting cycles, and collaborating with department heads to verify proper expense recording and classification.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting and strong Excel skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A CPA candidacy or NetSuite experience would strengthen your application, though neither is required. Beyond technical competency, Knighted emphasizes cultural fit—they're looking for someone collaborative, adaptable, and genuinely invested in supporting the accounting team's success rather than simply executing tasks.

The position offers standard benefits including flexible medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible PTO, commuter benefits, a 401(k), and a perks program. This is a full-time, in-office role suited to someone seeking hands-on accounting work at a company in active expansion.
