About this role

Kandu is seeking a Clinical Liaison to support stroke recovery in the Detroit area—a part-time role that bridges healthcare providers, patients, and the company's brain-computer interface technology. You'll work remotely but travel daily to partner hospitals and clinics, conducting patient screenings, delivering product education to clinical teams, and managing referral workflows. The position requires you to understand both the clinical landscape and patient needs, translating between providers and stroke survivors to drive adoption of Kandu's IpsiHand device and ensure successful patient onboarding.

This role demands a licensed therapist (OT, PT, or COTA) with substantial healthcare experience and a background in medical device or digital health sales. You'll need strong communication skills, comfort navigating health insurance processes, and the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. The position involves 40% overnight travel nationally, daily local travel to facilities, and hands-on EEG screening work, so reliable transportation and flexibility around scheduling are essential.

At $36–$38 per hour for 20–29 hours weekly, this is suited to someone with clinical credentials seeking part-time work that combines patient advocacy with business development, particularly if you have prior experience working with stroke survivors.
