About this role
CityVet's Oak Lawn clinic is hiring a Client Service Specialist to manage the front-end experience for all pet owners walking through the door. You'll be the first and often most memorable point of contact, handling check-ins, appointment scheduling across grooming, boarding, wellness visits, and retail services, while keeping the clinic's workflow running smoothly. The role requires you to juggle multiple appointment types, communicate priorities to the clinical team, and ensure clients feel welcomed and informed from arrival through discharge.
This position suits someone at least 18 years old who genuinely enjoys working with people and pets in a fast-paced clinic environment. You'll need to stay organized across competing priorities, communicate clearly with both clients and staff, and handle the phone and in-person interactions that set the tone for the clinic's reputation. CityVet emphasizes a culture where team members are valued for who they are and supported in their growth, backed by benefits including health and dental coverage, a 401(k) with 4% match, paid time off, flexible scheduling, and free telemedicine for full-time employees.
