About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an SLP to provide early intervention and pediatric services across New Castle and Kent Counties in Delaware, with immediate coverage needs in the Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend areas through January. The role centers on family-centered care delivered in natural environments—homes, childcare settings, playgrounds, and libraries—where you'll use a coaching-based approach to empower caregivers and support children's development. You'll complete weekly scheduled visits with electronic documentation for each session.
The position offers genuine flexibility to set your own schedule and choose your geographic coverage area, with compensation of up to $95 per visit, weekly pay, a travel stipend, and standard benefits including PTO, 401(k) matching, and medical/dental/vision coverage. BAYADA provides substantial clinical support through a dedicated office team, paid orientation, comprehensive onboarding, bi-annual continuing education reimbursement, and 24/7 access to experienced clinicians. The role can start as part-time (25+ visits weekly) or per diem (5 visits weekly) with potential to transition to full-time as you build a secondary caseload.
You'll need an active Delaware SLP license in good standing; birth-to-five and home care experience are preferred. This role suits clinicians drawn to community-based, family-centered practice who value scheduling autonomy and want direct clinical support from an established nonprofit organization.
