About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve early intervention and pediatric clients across New Castle and Kent Counties in Delaware. This is a flexible, part-time role that begins with covering an existing caseload in the Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend areas through January, with the opportunity to build your own secondary caseload afterward. You'll work in natural environments—homes, childcare settings, playgrounds, libraries—using a coaching-based approach to empower families and support children's development from birth to five.
The role offers genuine schedule flexibility; you set your own availability and choose your geographic coverage area, with options ranging from five visits per week (per diem) to 25+ visits weekly (part-time). Compensation is up to $95 per coverage visit with weekly pay, plus a travel stipend, PTO, 401(k) matching, and comprehensive health insurance. BAYADA provides substantial clinical support including a dedicated office team, paid orientation, professional development, bi-annual continuing education reimbursement, and 24/7 access to experienced clinicians.
You'll need an active Delaware SLP license in good standing and should have experience or passion for family-centered, community-based care. Birth-to-five and home care experience are preferred but not required. This position suits someone seeking flexibility without sacrificing clinical support or the chance to work meaningfully with families in their own communities.
