About this role

SpaceX's Washington, DC office is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Analyst to manage classified security operations within a SCIF environment supporting space missions. You would own SCI security compliance end-to-end, from coordinating indoctrinations and managing DD254 provisions to preparing for government inspections and working directly with mission management and engineering teams to ensure they understand classification and protection requirements. The role demands someone who can translate complex security policy into actionable guidance for diverse technical personnel while staying current on evolving security standards and implementing process improvements.

The position requires at least five years of hands-on SCI environment experience and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, plus either a bachelor's degree or seven years of broader NISPOM-related security work. Familiarity with systems like DISS, NBIS, and TALON, along with deep knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and Intelligence Community Directives, is preferred. You'll need to pass a CI polygraph, be willing to travel, and handle extended hours when mission deadlines demand it.

This is a full-time, in-office role with a salary range of $130,000 to $195,000, plus stock options, bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and a 10% clearance differential once briefed into a classified program. U.S. citizenship or equivalent immigration status is required due to ITAR regulations.
