About this role
Sono Bello's Tampa location is looking for a Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients pursuing cosmetic procedures. You'd manage the full patient journey at the front desk—from greeting and check-in through scheduling follow-ups and handling billing. The role blends administrative work (maintaining charts, organizing files, processing payments) with genuine customer service in a field where patients are typically motivated and positive about their decisions.
The position suits someone comfortable with MS Office and basic math, who can stay organized under the pace of a busy practice while handling multiple tasks: phone calls, appointment confirmations, inventory management, and keeping the front office running smoothly. You'll need to communicate clearly with both patients and internal staff, and be prepared to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Sono Bello emphasizes work-life balance—no holiday or night shifts—and positions this as "happy medicine," working in the growing aesthetics field with the backing of a large organization (185+ surgeons, 300,000+ procedures performed) but a small-practice feel. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, and paid holidays. The salary range is $15.75–$18.90 per hour, depending on qualifications and location.
