Description
About Hark
Hark is an artificial intelligence company building advanced, personalized intelligence. One that is proactive, multimodal, and capable of interacting with the world through speech, text, vision, and persistent memory.
We're pairing that intelligence with next-generation hardware to create a universal interface between humans and machines. While today's AI largely operates through chat boxes and decade-old devices, Hark is focused on what comes next: agentic systems that interact naturally with people and the real world.
To get there, we're developing multimodal models and next-generation AI hardware together - designed from the ground up as a single, unified interface for a new era of intelligent systems.
About the Role
We're hiring a Manager, Enterprise Sales to build Hark's commercial partner network.
Responsibilities
- Source, pitch, and close enterprise partnerships with major brands, retailers, and platforms.
- Own every contract negotiation end to end, from first terms to signature.
- Build and manage a pipeline from first outreach through close, with clear forecasting.
- Work with Legal, Product, and Engineering to structure deals Hark can launch and scale fast.
- Turn what you learn in the market into feedback that shapes Hark's product and commercial strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years closing deals with large companies, in partnerships, business development, or sales.
- A track record of sourcing and closing net-new deals yourself, not just managing existing accounts.
- Strong negotiator who is comfortable owning commercial terms and redlines.
- Experience selling into retail, e-commerce, travel, or consumer brands.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving at startup speed.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with performance-based or revenue-share partner models.
- Partnerships experience at a consumer tech, marketplace, or payments company.
- An existing network across major brands and retailers.

About this role
Hark is building multimodal AI systems and hardware designed to create a new kind of human-machine interface. As Manager, Enterprise Sales, you'd own the commercial side of that vision—sourcing and closing partnerships with major brands, retailers, and platforms that will integrate Hark's technology into their operations. This is a full-cycle role: you'll identify prospects, pitch, negotiate contracts end to end, and manage the pipeline with clear forecasting. You'll also feed market intelligence back to Product and Engineering to shape what Hark builds next.
The role demands someone with at least five years closing enterprise deals, ideally in partnerships or business development rather than account management. You need a proven ability to source new business yourself, strong negotiation skills, and experience selling into retail, e-commerce, travel, or consumer brands. Comfort with ambiguity and startup pace is essential. If you've worked with performance-based or revenue-share models, have a network across major retailers and brands, or come from consumer tech, marketplace, or payments companies, you'd have an edge.
This is an in-office position in San Jose with a base salary range of $150,000–$300,000, depending on experience and skills.
