About this role

Leading a PACE organization within Ascension's Catholic health system, this Executive Director role centers on operational excellence and strategic growth in Wichita. You would direct all aspects of the organization—from financial performance and census development to regulatory compliance and risk management—while embedding the Catholic healthcare mission into daily operations. The position demands someone equally comfortable with P&L responsibility and board-level governance, translating strategic objectives into actionable policies and presenting operational performance to the Board of Directors.

Building and retaining strong teams is central to the work. You would oversee the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment through performance management and continuing education, ensuring both operational and clinical staff meet the organization's standards. This requires balancing compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, religious directives, and internal policies to maintain care quality and organizational integrity.

The role requires either a Nursing Home Administrator license (preferred) or relevant healthcare management experience: five years in applicable roles with two in leadership, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with three years of applicable experience including two in management. This is a full-time, in-office position at a nonprofit health system recognized for workplace culture and support.
