About this role
Disco Technology is seeking a Litigation Engineer to serve as a technical bridge between its AI-powered legal platform and law firm users in Austin. You'll embed directly with litigation teams to configure and optimize the DISCO Unified Litigation Solution on live cases, translating what you learn into scalable product improvements and reusable playbooks that the broader team can deploy across accounts.
The role demands someone with substantive litigation experience—whether in complex commercial litigation, mass torts, regulatory investigations, or legal tech at a law firm—combined with hands-on familiarity with litigation workflows and evidence analysis. You'll need to be comfortable with technical fundamentals like APIs or scripting, and ideally have exposure to AI systems, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks. Beyond technical chops, you'll influence skeptical law firm stakeholders and cross-functional product teams without formal authority, operating effectively in early-stage, ambiguous environments where structured playbooks don't yet exist.
Compensation includes competitive salary plus RSUs, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), and flexible PTO. The position requires U.S. work authorization without sponsorship and is full-time, in-office in Austin.
