About this role

Leading the pastry kitchen at The Ritz-Carlton's Atlanta property means overseeing both the technical and people sides of a high-volume operation. You'll supervise cooks and kitchen staff while managing food preparation, presentation, and quality control—from determining how dishes are plated and garnished to monitoring inventory and maintaining food safety logs. The role also involves coordinating with the broader Food & Beverage team to communicate menu specials and availability, and stepping in to prepare special meals or substitutions as needed.

This position requires at least two years of supervisory experience and four to six years in a related culinary or pastry environment, ideally with formal training from a technical or trade school. Beyond kitchen expertise, you'll be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and developing your team—counseling and motivating staff to maintain Ritz-Carlton standards. You'll need to be comfortable with physical demands including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment while upholding safety protocols and company policies.

This is a full-time, in-office role suited to someone with established supervisory credentials who thrives in luxury hospitality and wants to lead a kitchen team at one of the industry's most recognized brands.
