JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the pack/QA staging area in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders picked.

HOURS

The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. When overtime is necessary, the schedule will shift to 7:30am to 5:00pm. Additionally, some Saturdays may be required, with hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Additional overtime may be necessary.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the style, size and quantity of product is accurate.
• Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations with material handling equipment.
• Meet company performance standards for productivity.
• On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment.
• Conduct physical inventories as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Comply with OSHA Standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

• High School Diploma/GED
• Working knowledge in MS Word, Excel or similar computer software systems.
• Ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations to sufficiently perform duties of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Attendance at work and punctuality is essential
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to communicate effectively
• The ability to follow directions is extremely important
• Required frequently: sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time as well as, kneeling, squatting, bending and reaching
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Must be able to count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
• Please note: this position requires a negative drug test result (including marijuana) before your start date

COMPENSATION

Starting at $19 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off accrual, and 401(k) matching after one year of employment.
