Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage successful project execution, including schedule, cost, technical coordination, customer communication, and delivery.

  • Identify technical, schedule, cost, and performance risks and develop mitigation plans before they affect project delivery.
  • Manage project changes and support development of change orders, requests for equitable adjustment, or other contract modifications as required.
  • Lead regular internal and customer project status meetings and provide clear reporting on schedule, technical status, risks, issues, and required decisions.
  • Coordinate with engineering personnel to troubleshoot and resolve technical integration issues during installation and commissioning.
  • Ensure required testing, quality control, configuration documentation, as-built documentation, and project closeout deliverables are completed.

About this role

C3EL is hiring a Technical Project Manager to oversee complex audiovisual and video teleconferencing integration projects for Department of Defense and federal government clients. You'd own projects from post-award through design, procurement, installation, testing, and closeout—managing schedules, budgets, technical coordination, and stakeholder communication across C3EL teams, government customers, subcontractors, and vendors. The role demands enough technical depth to review system designs, coordinate engineering activities, troubleshoot integration issues during commissioning, and serve as the primary point of contact between all parties.

This position requires a minimum of five years in project management or technical leadership, with direct experience managing AV/VTC, IT infrastructure, or similar technology integration projects ideally supporting DoD or federal customers. You'll need an active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred), U.S. citizenship, and willingness to travel to customer sites. A bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, project management, or a related field is expected. PMP certification and manufacturer credentials from vendors like Crestron or Extron are preferred but not required; experience with secure, mission-critical environments is a significant plus.

The role is contract-based and located in Tampa, Florida, requiring in-office presence.
