About this role
Loll Designs is hiring a CNC operator for third shift (midnight to 8 a.m.) at their Duluth manufacturing facility. You'll operate a 3-axis high-speed CNC router to produce outdoor furniture made from recycled plastic, working from pre-programmed files and managing setup, tooling, and quality inspection. The role also involves forklift operation to stage materials and maintaining a clean, organized work area. While no prior CNC experience is necessary, you'll learn directly from the company's CNC programmer, and a high school diploma or GED is required.
The position offers full-time, direct hire employment at $17 per hour plus quarterly bonuses averaging $11,000 annually. Benefits begin immediately and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching with profit sharing, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and company-paid disability coverage. You'll need to be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment—potentially noisy and warm—standing or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining focus on detailed, repetitive tasks. Strong communication with peers and supervisors, the ability to read work orders, and a positive attitude are essential to succeed in this role.
