About this role
Oregon Health & Science University Foundation is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead its donor stewardship and reporting initiatives. You would own the strategy and execution of endowment, current-use fund, and impact reporting programs—essentially serving as the subject-matter expert who ensures donors receive consistent, high-quality communications about how their gifts are being used. The role requires translating organizational priorities into coordinated annual plans, managing timelines and processes, and troubleshooting issues as they arise across a complex reporting landscape.
Your day-to-day work spans both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You'll partner with development officers, faculty, and Foundation leadership to facilitate donor stewardship activities; create and maintain program documentation; oversee lectureship stewardship and donor recognition initiatives; and handle donor-facing correspondence and communications. The position also involves constituent database management, meeting coordination, and general support for the Managing Director of Stewardship. You'll need strong project management discipline, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic design tools.
This role suits someone with at least five years of program or project management experience, ideally in higher education, healthcare, or nonprofit fundraising. The Foundation values initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work diplomatically across diverse internal and external stakeholders. The position is hybrid-based in Portland and offers a competitive salary range of $79,595–$106,126 depending on experience, plus a strong benefits package including a 12% pension contribution, 22 days of paid vacation, and professional development support.
