About this role
RISE Association Management Group is seeking a Business Development Representative to support its growth in the Houston market. In this hybrid role, you'll handle the early stages of the sales pipeline—qualifying inbound leads, researching prospective homeowners' associations and their decision-makers, maintaining accurate records in Pipedrive, and coordinating prospect meetings and follow-ups. You'll also prepare discovery briefs and customize proposals with director guidance, conduct targeted outreach via phone and email, and help develop repeatable workflows using available tools.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with persistent outreach and client-facing communication. You should have strong writing skills, curiosity about finding information, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and learn new technology quickly. Prior experience in sales support, business development, customer service, or administrative coordination is preferred, though extensive sales experience isn't required. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local meetings are essential.
The position offers a $60,000–$65,000 base salary plus performance bonus, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 20 days PTO, and a 401(k) plan. For someone seeking entry or mid-level exposure to business development in a structured, growth-oriented company, this role provides a clear pathway to expanded responsibilities in sales operations or account development.
