About this role
Alo Yoga's Washington Square store in Portland is seeking an Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day execution of store operations while managing a team of Operations Associates. This role sits at the intersection of logistics, people leadership, and business performance—you'll own inventory management and accuracy, coordinate shipments and receiving, maintain visual standards on the sales floor, and ensure the stockroom runs smoothly. You'll also partner with the General Manager and other store leaders to track metrics, manage budgets, and identify process gaps that affect profitability and efficiency.
The position demands someone with at least two years of experience in a client-focused, sales-driven environment and a track record of leading others effectively. You'll need strong communication skills, the ability to receive and give feedback openly, and the self-motivation to drive results both individually and as part of a team. The work is physically active—constant movement across the sales floor and back of house, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for full shifts. You'll also be expected to work opening and closing shifts, weekends, and the full holiday season through early January.
Beyond the operational demands, this role aligns with Alo's philosophy around mindful movement and community impact. The company offers a competitive benefits package including an employee discount, free Wellness Club membership with streaming fitness classes, medical and dental coverage, 401k matching, and monthly store incentives.
