About this role

The Law Office of Bryan Fagan's Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal role is built for someone with solid experience in Texas estate and probate work who wants to specialize rather than chase business development. You'll support attorneys across wills, trusts, guardianship, and probate matters—handling document drafting and formatting, discovery preparation, court filings, case calendars, and client coordination. The work is substantive and detail-oriented, requiring you to manage multiple cases while staying organized and communicating clearly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

The firm values depth over hustle. Rather than generating leads, you'll focus on managing cases and supporting strategy, working in a team-based environment with a stated commitment to work-life balance. The hybrid setup offers one to two remote days weekly, and the casual culture is intentional. The position requires at least two years of Texas estate planning or probate experience (five years preferred), a paralegal certificate or related degree, and proficiency with case management software like Clio or TxDoc.

Compensation ranges from $40K to $80K annually, with a billable hour bonus paid biweekly that can add up to $35K more per year. Benefits include medical coverage with $600 monthly company contribution, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401K with 5% match. This is a full-time hybrid role at a 16-location Texas firm actively expanding.
