About this role

Supporting the Philadelphia Phillies' Major League operations, this seasonal role runs from February through October and sits within the Research and Information department. You'd work directly under the Senior Manager of Major League Video & Technology, handling the video capture, processing, and analysis that feeds into both the hitting strategy and broader scouting functions. The work spans filming and data compilation for bullpen sessions, building advance scouting materials, fulfilling video requests from players and coaches, and monitoring game footage to spot opponent tendencies and internal Minor League development.

The position demands hands-on proficiency with baseball-specific technology—BATS, Edgertronic cameras, Trackman Mobile—and solid video editing skills. You'll need a bachelor's degree and professional or collegiate baseball experience to understand the context of what you're documenting and analyzing. The role requires discretion with sensitive information, the ability to work comfortably under pressure with tight deadlines, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays during the season. You should be prepared for extended time in hot conditions, whether in the stadium or on the field.

If you have coding experience in SQL, R, or Python, or a background playing baseball that lets you contribute to on-field activities, those strengths would set you apart. Spanish fluency is also valued. This is a full-time in-office position in Philadelphia suited to someone who wants direct exposure to how a major league organization uses video and data to develop players and prepare for competition.
