About this role

At CBIZ's Cleveland office, this Senior Accountant role centers on managing the company's cash operations and financial controls. You'll handle all cash reconciliations across local, consolidated, and payroll accounts, book corporate cash transactions, and oversee accounting for compensation and retention programs. Beyond day-to-day cash management, you'll prepare quarterly bank certificates for debt reporting, conduct internal financial surveys, and manage government filings including US Census Bureau submissions. The position also involves reviewing intercompany reconciliations, public filing areas, and SOX control testing, while serving as a liaison between corporate finance and other departments.

This is an in-office, full-time position requiring at least three years of experience as a subject matter expert in accounting, along with current relevant licenses and certifications. You'll need strong communication skills across all organizational levels, comfort with technology platforms, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities independently or as part of a team.
