Description
The Sanitation Associate performs typical sanitation tasks to support the production team and the entire facility up to and including removing waste, debris and refuse, transporting empty boxes to compactors, monitoring outside of facility for waste and debris, sanitizing equipment and floors at end of shifts, cleaning and sanitizing tools and receptacles and other custodial functions as needed.

You are...
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of all food production equipment and machinery. (I.E. Production machines, tables, mats, compost bins, sinks, drains, walls, and any surface that is scheduled for sanitation duties.)
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitting and packing equipment and surfaces.
- Working in a temperature-controlled environment
- Regularly lifting and moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting and moving up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Understanding and adhering to all safety standards and requirements
At a minimum, you...
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Speak, read, write, and understand English at an intermediate level.
- Previous experience working in sanitation/janitorial preferred, however no experience necessary, you will receive training on your first day!.

HelloFresh's Phoenix facility is hiring Sanitation Associates to maintain food production and packing areas in a fast-paced meal-kit manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, machinery, work surfaces, and tools, as well as managing waste removal and facility upkeep. The role involves regular lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifts up to 50 pounds, with work in temperature-controlled spaces. Two shift options are available: day shifts (Wednesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM) or overnight shifts (Wednesday–Saturday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM).
