About this role

Asana's Impact Go-To-Market team is hiring an account executive to build and expand relationships with nonprofit organizations using their work management platform. You'd own a portfolio of emerging enterprise accounts, serve as the primary contact for those customers, and work cross-functionally with sales engineers, customer success, and other teams to drive both new business and expansion revenue. The role involves mapping stakeholder networks within large organizations, cultivating champions at the C-suite and director levels, and executing territory strategies that balance velocity with relationship depth.

This position suits someone with at least four years of direct emerging enterprise sales experience and six years total in software, ideally with prior exposure to the nonprofit, education, or public sector space. You should be comfortable building genuine relationships with senior executives, managing a diverse account portfolio simultaneously, and working alongside channel partners. The job description emphasizes curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset—you'll be expected to co-create solutions with internal teams rather than operate in isolation.

Based in San Francisco, New York, or Chicago with a hybrid schedule (in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday), the role offers total on-target earnings ranging from $202,000 to $281,000 depending on location, plus equity and benefits including mental health support, career coaching, and family building benefits.
