About this role

Ignite Digital is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Charleston office on a contract basis, supporting financial operations for integrated project teams serving national security agencies. This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, requiring someone who can manage the full lifecycle of funding actions—from acceptance and project setup in N-ERP through spend plan development, dashboard maintenance, and forecasting. You'll coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, support leadership with data-driven insights, and respond to command-level reporting requests on obligation authority and expenditure projections.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with financial management systems (ideally N-ERP), project cost estimation, and data visualization tools like Power BI. You'll need strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, the organizational ability to juggle concurrent funding actions and documentation, and the communication skills to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences. Experience in DoD environments or with IPT financial workflows is preferred but not required; what matters most is a solid foundation in budget processes, funds acceptance, and the ability to learn domain-specific workflows quickly.

This is a contract position offering competitive compensation starting at $75k based on experience. Candidates will need to meet eligibility requirements for government security clearance. Ignite Digital emphasizes professional development, community engagement, and a supportive work environment.
