Life as a Consulting Analyst

When you join, you’ll have a starting salary of £36,400 per year, plus a £7,200 signing bonus (subject to terms).

  • Develop core consulting skills including foundational knowledge and application of AI through completion of our award-winning Analyst "Runway" training programme, giving you the confidence and capabilities to succeed as your career evolves.

👀 What you’ll need:  

You’ll need to have obtained (or be on track to obtain) a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university by your start date. We accept applications for this programme from all degree disciplines.

Accenture values collaboration, bringing people together at least three times a week at client sites or one of our UK offices. You will be required to be in your assigned office for a minimum of three days per week and must live within commuting distance to make this possible. Project work may also take you to client sites across the UK, sometimes more than three days a week, depending on business needs. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Throughout your graduate programme and beyond, you’ll be supported with training, career coaching and guidance to help you progress in your career. In your first 12 months, you’ll work on a variety of client projects to explore the full breadth of what we do, helping you discover where your strengths and interests lie.  

After your first year, you’ll specialise in either an industry, such as Financial Services, Resources or Health & Public Sector, or a function, such as Change Management, Technology Strategy or Innovation. 

To bring this to life, here are some real examples from recent Consulting Graduates: 
  • Megan joined the programme in 2025 and currently serves as a Delivery Lead, contributing to Migration Readiness across Savings and Mortgages as part of an integration for a major global financial services client. She also co-leads the Women in Financial Services (WIFS) Network, driving client and industry collaboration, strengthening internal community engagement, and aligning strategically with Accenture’s reinvention ambition. 
  • Sachin joined the programme in 2022 and is now a Consultant within Accenture’s UKIA Energy Practice. He led the successful implementation of an AI tool within the HR space for a major oil & gas client, driving significant cost savings by streamlining human tasks and optimising operational efficiency, supporting the client in achieving its overarching transformation strategy. 
  • Victoria joined the programme in 2022 and is now a Consultant within Accenture’s Health & Public Services practice. She is a Delivery Lead on a large healthcare provider AI innovation programme, overseeing governance and collaboration across teams to accelerate the development and deployment of AI agents that reduce administrative burden and free up staff time for higher-value activities. Victoria also co-leads Accenture's Non-Profit UK volunteer community, enabling employees to apply their skills to projects that deliver positive social impact. 
📅 Key Dates:  

We don’t post application deadlines as we will close the application window once we receive enough applications, so apply promptly to avoid disappointment.  
  • Interviews typically begin in October and run through to the New Year. Due to high volume of applications, this may take some time, but you will receive regular updates on your application status.
