Project work may also take you to client sites across the UK, sometimes more than three days a week, depending on business needs.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Throughout your graduate programme and beyond, you’ll be supported with training, coaching and guidance to help you progress in your career. In your first 12 months, you’ll work on a variety of client projects in data, analytics or the AI space to explore the full breadth of what we do, helping you discover where your strengths and interests lie.

After this, you’ll align to a specialised area within AI & Data that matches your skills and ambitions – whether it’s AI & Data strategy, insight & decision generation, advanced data science, or generative and agentic AI. From that point forward, you’ll deepen your expertise, take on more complex challenges, and grow into a trusted advisor, shaping a career path that’s uniquely your own.

To bring this to life, here are some examples from recent AI & Data Graduates:
  • Vaishnavi joined the programme in 2026 and is now building agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows for a global pharmaceutical client, supporting oncology R&D sprint planning and developing guardrails to improve AI output quality and reliability.
  • Ben joined the programme in 2025 and has since progressed across multiple data-focused roles at a major government client, running business discovery workshops, evaluating AI vendors for large-scale data migration, and owning an assessment of a complex legacy data warehouse alongside third-party partners. He is also contributing to Accenture's partnership with The Royal & Ancient, one of the world's most iconic sporting organisations.
  • Taimur joined the programme in 2022 and is now a Consultant owning end-to-end delivery of critical dashboards for a major aerospace client, driving approximately ÂŁ3.5 million in annual savings through improved insight and automation, and building AI-powered reporting tools used by senior Accenture leadership.
