About this role
Astranis is seeking a Civil Space Sales Manager to develop and execute business strategy within the U.S. civil space sector—specifically targeting NASA, NOAA, and national laboratories. You would own relationship-building with government program managers and senior decision-makers, identify new mission opportunities aligned with Astranis's satellite capabilities, and serve as a bridge between the company's engineering and operations teams and civil space stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings at least five years in engineering, program management, corporate strategy, or USG sales, combined with genuine familiarity of the civil space community and its landscape. You'll prepare briefing materials, develop customer-facing proposals, track civil space budgets and Congressional actions, and assess competitive positioning. Travel to the National Capital Region and elsewhere will account for up to 40 percent of your time. U.S. citizenship or green card status is required due to export control regulations; prior TS/SCI clearance or eligibility for one is a significant advantage.
