About this role

Dark Wolf Solutions is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to work on-site at Offutt AFB in Omaha, managing security across air-gapped development environments. The role centers on Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle management, Authorization to Operate (ATO) support, and continuous exposure management—with a particular emphasis on using AI-assisted tools to accelerate compliance documentation and close security gaps. You'll design and implement secure systems, conduct vulnerability assessments, coordinate control implementation with engineering teams, and support formal Security Test and Evaluation processes required by government accrediting authorities.

This position demands seven or more years of hands-on cybersecurity work, including direct experience validating security controls through scanning, configuration review, and manual testing. You'll need fluency in RMF workflows, System Security Plans (SSPs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), plus practical proficiency with eGRC platforms like eMASS, XACTA, or RSA Archer. The role requires translating between technical teams and compliance leadership—turning developer configurations into audit-ready evidence that non-technical stakeholders can understand. A bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, IAT II certification, and Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility are mandatory.

The salary is fixed at $155,000 for a full-time W2 position with no contract or agency arrangements. This is a strict on-site role requiring US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI access.
