About this role

VSC Fire & Security is looking for an experienced sprinkler technician to join their Dallas operation, where you'd handle the full lifecycle of fire suppression systems—from installation and modification through testing and ongoing service. With two to three years of hands-on sprinkler installation experience, you'd be responsible for executing work according to design plans, managing materials on site, and communicating any changes or deficiencies back to the team. The role includes a supervisory component: you may oversee other technicians on assigned jobs and represent the company on site while maintaining VSC's safety and risk management standards.

This position suits someone detail-oriented and reliable who communicates well both verbally and in writing, reads technical plans confidently, and takes initiative to meet deadlines. You'll need a valid driver's license with a clean record, as you'll be using a company vehicle. Construction industry background is a plus, and for Texas candidates, RME-I and BPAT certifications strengthen your candidacy, though they're not required.

VSC offers competitive pay ($31–$41+ per hour based on experience), overtime eligibility, a company vehicle and fuel card, comprehensive health coverage, paid time off, and support for professional development including NICET certification reimbursement. The company has been established since 1958 and emphasizes quality craftsmanship and customer service across the Southeast.
