About this role

Thompson Thrift's Construction Service Administrator role centers on keeping multifamily construction projects organized and on track. You'll handle the administrative backbone of these projects—managing documents, coordinating with subcontractors, processing submittals and purchase orders, maintaining insurance documentation, and ensuring all files stay current and accessible for the project team. Working directly with Project Managers and Project Executives, you'll move between correspondence review, file organization, drawing distribution, and closeout activities, with success depending entirely on your ability to stay organized and catch details others might miss.

This position suits someone with at least two years of clerical or administrative experience who has solid computer skills, strong written communication, and the discipline to follow established processes. You'll need to communicate professionally with internal teams and external parties like subcontractors and suppliers, and you should be comfortable learning construction-specific workflows and terminology. Thompson Thrift emphasizes values-driven culture, career development, and competitive benefits, positioning this as a potential entry point into the construction side of a larger real estate organization rather than a temporary administrative post.
