About this role

Brex is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to drive new business growth from small to mid-sized companies across their financial platform. You'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through demos and closing—selling an integrated suite of corporate cards, expense management, and travel solutions. The role demands consistent pipeline generation and self-prospecting, with success measured against clear quota targets in a competitive, high-volume environment.

The position requires at least a year of B2B SaaS closing experience, ideally with a background in new business development or as a top-performing SDR/BDR. You'll need strong communication skills to articulate ROI and business value to mid-market stakeholders, plus the self-motivation to drive results independently. Experience selling financial software—particularly in expense management, accounting, or banking—is a significant advantage. You'll collaborate across Sales Development, Product, and Underwriting to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Based in San Francisco with hybrid flexibility (three coordinated office days per week, plus up to four weeks fully remote annually), this role offers an OTE of $172,890–$192,100 depending on experience and performance. It suits someone energized by fast-paced sales execution, comfortable with high self-prospecting demands, and motivated by a competitive culture that recognizes top performers.
