About this role
ElitAire, a growing HVAC solutions provider serving the commercial and industrial market across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, is looking for a Construction Project Manager to manage the full lifecycle of equipment projects in Columbus. You'll balance technical depth with customer relationship management—selecting and specifying HVAC equipment, coordinating with service teams and Account Managers, developing proposals with accurate pricing, and conducting site visits to ensure successful project execution. The role demands someone who can work independently, solve problems on the fly, and communicate clearly with both internal teams and external customers.
The ideal candidate brings a degree in project management, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with a preference for HVAC project management background. You'll need solid proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel, and familiarity with CAD tools like AutoCAD or Revit is a plus. Success here requires you to be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable making decisions without constant oversight. Expect to travel 10–25% for site visits and customer support.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Columbus. If you thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy technical problem-solving, and want to grow with a company that's nearly doubled in size since 2008, this role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on engineered HVAC solutions.
