About this role
Gener8Tor is looking for someone to lead its gBETA North Dakota accelerator program—a seven-week initiative that supports early-stage startups. You'd be the primary point of contact for founders, responsible for recruiting two cohorts per year (targeting 25+ applications each), running program logistics, and serving as day-to-day coach to participating companies. This means hands-on work: one-on-one guidance on customer discovery, fundraising readiness, and business model refinement; connecting founders with mentors, investors, and resources; and tracking program metrics and outcomes.
Beyond direct founder support, you'd build the ecosystem itself. That involves cultivating relationships with 30+ mentors and 25+ investors, attending community events across North Dakota, and becoming what the job description calls an "unofficial startup mayor." You'd represent Gener8Tor at networking events, maintain stakeholder relationships, and contribute to broader company initiatives. The role is hybrid (2–3 days weekly in the Fargo office) and requires either living in North Dakota or willingness to relocate.
This role suits someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives on relationship-building and community organizing. You need to be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you're equally willing to coach founders through strategy and handle operational details. The salary range is $60,000–$70,000 based on experience.
