  • Lead AI & Product Feedback Loops: Partner directly with Product and Engineering leadership to translate front-line customer friction into AI-driven features, platform enhancements, and automated self-service flows.
  • Own Customer Activation & Onboarding: Manage full lifecycle customer onboarding and implementation across all product lines (EOR, Contractor, GIA), ensuring rapid time-to-value for enterprise clients.
  • Optimize Operational Health & Analytics: Utilize workforce management telemetry and service desk analytics to forecast capacity, optimize regional coverage, and manage key SLAs (Response Time, Re-open Rates, CSAT, FCR, TTR, and Automation %).
  • Design Segmented CX Delivery: Establish customized service SLAs and high-touch support tiers tailored to distinct client segments (SMB vs. Enterprise) and multi-product configurations.
  • Manage Executive Escalations: Serve as the senior escalation point for complex operational or technical issues, driving root-cause resolution and structural platform remedies.
  • Align Cross-Functional Operations: Consult with Legal, Finance, Revenue, and CS teams to streamline customer handoffs and ensure business policies align with continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Scale & Develop Global Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing global team of regional directors, operational managers, and support engineers, cultivating a robust pipeline of future operational managers.

About this role

Globalization Partners is seeking an executive operational leader to transform and scale its global shared services function—the backbone of its SaaS employment platform that operates across 180+ countries. As Senior Director of Global Shared Services, you would report directly to the VP of Global Operations and own the full operational ecosystem for customer support and onboarding, spanning 24/7 Tier 1 technical support and Tier 2 regional lifecycle teams. This is a strategic role that bridges operations, product, and engineering to turn front-line customer friction into platform improvements and automated workflows.

Your core mandate is operational transformation: re-architecting multi-tiered support models to maximize efficiency and CSAT, leading AI and automation initiatives that reduce manual work, and managing the complete customer onboarding lifecycle across three product lines (EOR, Contractor, GIA). You'll also design segmented service delivery for different client tiers, serve as the senior escalation point for complex issues, and build a global leadership pipeline across regions. Success requires deep expertise in SaaS operations, multi-tiered technical support architecture, capacity planning, and the ability to partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive roadmap decisions.

This role demands 12+ years of progressive leadership in global shared services or SaaS operations, with proven experience scaling customer onboarding and technical support organizations. You'll need hands-on fluency with modern AI and automation tools, advanced analytics and workforce modeling skills, and a track record of designing segmented support models for enterprise and SMB clients. Prior experience in HR technology, EOR, or global mobility is preferred. The position is remote, contract-based, and based in Ireland, with a salary range of €156,000–€195,000 plus variable compensation.
