You'll design and maintain data pipelines, manage ETL/ELT processes, and oversee data migrations while ensuring high performance, reliability, and governance across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and AWS environments. The role requires coordinating closely with BI, application, architecture, and database teams to document data flows, validate transformations, and recommend improvements to automation and analytics readiness.
This is a contract position based in Washington, DC, paying $120,000–$130,000. You'll need at least four years of hands-on data engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in a related technical field, and relevant certifications (data engineering, cloud platforms, databases, Agile, and CompTIA Security+).
