About this role

Carvana's Customer Advocate role in Boston puts you at the center of their distinctive car-buying experience, greeting customers at the Vending Machine and guiding them through pickup. You'll handle paperwork, answer questions about the process, and troubleshoot technical issues—essentially serving as the face of the company during a customer's most direct interaction with the brand. The position requires at least two years of customer-facing experience and demands comfort with physical work: detailing vehicles, loading them onto the machine, and sustaining activity across 8+ hour shifts in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

The job comes with rotating shifts between 7am–3pm and 1pm–9pm, seven days a week, and you'll need to obtain a Notary license within your first 90 days (Carvana covers the cost). Depending on your state, additional licensing—such as a Vehicle Verifier or Salesperson license—may be required. You must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Compensation starts at $22/hour with structured increases: $22.50 at three months, $23 at six months, and potential progression to $24 within your first year through Carvana's performance-based merit program. Benefits include 100% company-paid health, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) matching; 13 paid days off initially (rising to 20); tuition reimbursement or student loan repayment; and annual company stock grants. The role offers fast-track advancement for strong performers and suits someone seeking entry into a rapidly growing company with clear earning potential and professional development pathways.
