About this role

A24 is looking for someone to step into a music clearance and operations role for roughly nine months, covering a maternity leave period. You'd be the central coordinator across marketing and film projects, managing everything from negotiating music rights with labels and publishers to tracking budgets, handling delivery logistics, and keeping 27+ active film projects moving forward. The work spans clearances for trailers and social content, quality-checking audio and paperwork, coordinating with composers and music supervisors, and managing artist outreach for original songs.

This role demands strong project management and organizational skills, ideally backed by at least five years in music licensing or clearance work. You'd need comfort negotiating directly with rights holders, existing relationships in the music industry, and fluency with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and AirTable. The position is hybrid in West Hollywood, requiring 3 to 4 days in-office weekly. It's fast-paced and detail-oriented—you're juggling timelines, escalating bottlenecks, and ensuring materials are ready for international delivery under tight deadlines.

The role suits someone who thrives in a structured but dynamic environment, handles confidential information with discretion, and can navigate ambiguity without losing focus. You'd be paid $24 to $28 per hour depending on experience, plus eligibility for performance bonuses, healthcare, and other benefits.
