About this role
Leading warehouse operations at Magnolia's Waco facility means balancing multiple priorities simultaneously: hitting KPIs across work units, developing your team, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring inventory accuracy. You'll report to the Operations Manager while supervising associates, using warehouse management systems and available technology to track performance, delegate tasks, and solve operational problems as they arise. The role requires you to be present on the floor observing processes and work habits, communicating with both internal teams and external stakeholders about procedural changes and system issues.
This position suits someone with three to five years of warehouse or operations experience who can think critically under pressure and lead through coaching rather than just direction. You'll need proficiency in Microsoft Office, a high school diploma or equivalent, and comfort with the physical demands of a warehouse environment—frequent standing and walking, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to temperature fluctuations and moderate noise. Forklift trainer certification is preferred. The role requires flexibility to work weekends, events, and holidays as needed, and demands someone who can communicate clearly, foster team engagement, and maintain focus on guest satisfaction alongside operational efficiency.
