Construction Project Manager - #926
Location: Huntsville, AL
TS/SCI REQUIRED/Current CI Poly
Responsibilities:
- Develop project management plans
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams of architects and engineers from a variety of organizations
- Review designs submitted for changes to government facilities
- Assist with the management of project designs and/or construction efforts
- Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel
- Conduct inspections to ensure conformance with design specifications and building codes
- Provide official weekly project status reports
- Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders
- Collect requirements, prepare scopes of work, conduct market research, and develop sole source justifications, as needed
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
- Conduct and approve punch-list items prior to property turn-over
- Maintain, track, and update contract change requests
- Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout project lifecycle to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience or 7+ years of expereince managing complex projects, in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Project
- Proficiency with developing project management plans, leading multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers from a variety of organizations, and monitoring/reporting project status
- Highly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagement
- Competent in reading and understanding construction drawings/specifications and knowledgeable in standard construction industry practices
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with new building construction

Allen Integrated Solutions is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee government facility projects in Huntsville on a contract basis. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, making it suited for candidates with existing security credentials or those willing to pursue them. You'll manage the full project lifecycle for complex construction efforts, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams of architects and engineers across multiple organizations while maintaining strict adherence to scope, budget, and timeline standards.
Your day-to-day work involves reviewing designs and shop drawings, conducting site inspections for code and specification compliance, preparing weekly status reports, and managing change requests and punch-list items through project completion. You'll serve as the central communication hub, coordinating between field personnel, customers, management, and stakeholders. The role also includes requirements gathering, scope development, and market research as needed to support project planning and execution.
To qualify, you need a bachelor's degree plus three years of project management experience, or seven years of experience without a degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project is essential, along with the ability to read construction drawings, understand building codes, and lead diverse teams. A CCM or PMP certification and experience with new building construction are valued but not required.
