About this role
Upway is looking for someone to be the analytical backbone of its DACH expansion, working directly with the General Manager to set strategy and drive execution across commercial, marketing, and operations. You'd own category management for the region, support critical decisions on campaigns and channel mix, and lead cross-functional projects that translate data into concrete business moves. This isn't a back-office analytics role—you'll define pricing strategy and category approaches yourself, not just build supporting analyses.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years from consulting, revenue management, pricing, operations, or investment banking, with strong SQL skills and genuine comfort making decisions from data. You need to think critically about problems, communicate complex analyses clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your work directly affects revenue and profitability. The role is based in Berlin and requires in-office presence.
What makes this different from typical strategy roles is the breadth and directness of impact. You'll have rare cross-functional scope touching pricing, product, and channels, with direct access to the GM and visibility into top-level decisions rather than working in isolation. If you want strategic ownership paired with analytical rigor, this is a high-impact seat.
