About this role
Urschel Laboratories is offering a hands-on internship in product development at their Indiana headquarters, where you'd support the design and testing of industrial cutting equipment used globally in food processing. Over the summer of 2027, you'd work directly with the Innovation & Development and Engineering teams on real projects—creating CAD models in SolidWorks, developing prototypes, operating 3D printing equipment, and collecting data from equipment testing. The internship suits rising juniors and seniors in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or related engineering programs who have CAD experience and a genuine interest in how products move from concept to production. You'll need a minimum 2.8 GPA, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and authorization to work in the US. Beyond the $24/hour wage, you gain mentorship, a letter of recommendation, and the option to earn academic credit if your university approves.
