About this role

Synapse Health, a DME industry innovator founded in 2016, is looking for a licensed pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist in Charge on a PRN basis at their Easley, South Carolina location. The role centers on regulatory oversight—specifically ensuring compliance with Kentucky's medical gas licensing requirements, including quarterly onsite visits to their Skokie, Illinois office to review records and documentation. You'll develop and maintain policies for secure storage and handling of medical gases, collaborate with the team on inspection preparation, and work directly with Kentucky's regulatory framework.

This position suits a pharmacist with active licenses in both Kentucky and South Carolina who has experience navigating regulatory compliance, particularly around medical gases. You'll need strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations, and solid organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office and willingness to learn department-specific software are expected. The role emphasizes accountability, analytical thinking, and strategic planning—qualities Synapse Health values across its team.

The PRN structure offers flexibility for someone seeking regulatory-focused work without a traditional full-time commitment. This is a compliance-driven role rather than a clinical one, best suited to a pharmacist who finds regulatory oversight meaningful and has the discipline to manage independent oversight responsibilities.
